eMAXIS Slim eMAXIS Slim 全世界株式(オール・カントリー) equivalent to buy same day

Tried to buy some eMAXIS Slim 全世界株式(オール・カントリー) with Nisa account
Have no experience with that, so called Monex to clarify some details
They said even if I buy (place order) today, it shall be actually bought the next day, with next day's price
With everyday jumping prices now it does not have much sense
I wonder if that really so, about "buy today get tomorrow's price"?
And if it is - is there's any eMAXIS Slim 全世界株式(オール・カントリー) equivalent to buy same day? Like, ETF of some sort which can be purachsed with regular "limit order" at any time. Probably Japanese issuer would be better, I guess they must be cheaper/easier to deal with via Monex. Or any popular option. If any...

I know eMAXIS Slim 全世界株式(オール・カントリー) is popular on this forum, but with this purchase system I do wonder why. Are its' expenses so much cheaper than similar ETFs? Otherwise...

For long term investing, daily price fluctuations are actually not very relevant and it's better to ignore them. Mutual funds preventing you from making impulsive decision is an advantage.

I'll let someone else share the ETF version, as it's a bit of a footgun IMO.

Mutual funds cannot be traded in real time, ETFs can.

But most people are investing for the long term (decades). It doesn't matter if the price changes between the order and the purchase, especially for a large index like the all-country.

If you want to trade at a specific price point you should look at ETFs instead.

The ACWI is the ETF equivalent that you can trade in real time. If you wanted more diversification VT is also available. These will have to go into NISA’s growth section. The major online brokers will let you trade for free in NISA so that’s a plus. But since Japanese brokers don’t have DRIP reinvestment of dividends ETFs are not well suited to holding in a NISA account.

I agree with the general opinion on this board that the ultra low cost Japanese mutual funds have some compelling upsides for long term investors in Japan, especially in a NISA account. However I do understand that you are uneasy in a tumultuous market like we are having now to entrust your purchase price to the vagaries of the market. It’s a difficult call.

According to noted investment blogger Shintaro, the fee for the ETF version is a shade more expensive than for the mutual fund version and a slight tracking error was seen in the ETF compared to the mutual fund.

But the difference is slight.

Thank you very much. I couldn’t find the detailed information on Monex for some reason. ETFs may have a different outline to mutuals.
