How do you purchase the same fund with multiple sources. For example 50,000 from Rakuten card and 50,000 from 証券口座 for Emaxis Slim All Country?

Bonds in nisa/ideco vs taxable
In the U.S. it is recommended to keep bonds in retirement accounts to reduce taxes. Is this applicable to Japan as well?

I found the expense ratios for various ETFs but does Rakuten charge any fees when making purchases? My wife has Rakuten and I have Vanguard (U.S.)so I am trying to come up with the best strategy to use them effectively. Since Vanguard has no fees I was wondering if Rakuten does or not. Would there be any disadvantage to having her invest all available funds in Japan and myself not investing? I am the only one working so all funds would be coming from my salary in Japan.
