Hello all,
Recently my financial advisor told me about a "new" type of investment : Green Energy (mostly solar) that you can sell back to the big electricity providers using the Feed-In tariff (FIT) program.
Anyone has experience with that ?

Could you provide some more details? Are you talking about some kind of fund? Or buying solar panels yourself?

I think when it comes to investing, you should stick to the classics for the bulk of your investments:
After that if you have play money left over, then you can play with green energy, cryptocurrency, snake oil, etc.
- Broad-market low-cost index funds
- Broad-market low-cost government bond funds

Sorry for the belated reply.
KyushuWoozy got it right, after some prodding, a company such as ShiftEnergy was offering investment plan.
Only problem is that price are steadily declining and positive return is (very) far to be guaranteed.
