Saved a bit on my income tax payment with the F-REGI credit card tax payment site

This year, I made my kakuteishinkoku income tax payment via the F-REGI website, which allows you to pay your taxes with a credit/debit card.

There is a quite a high charge for going this route, which works out at something like 10,000 yen charge on a 1,000,000 yen tax payment, so it only makes sense if you have a cash back or point back rate of over 1%, but for those of you with say a Sony Wallet card with 2% cash back status, it could be a good way of saving around 1% on your tax bill (all percentages here only approximate btw).

I usually pay my property taxes with a credit card (to help reach spending goals rather than get points specifically). Very easy to do.
