Hi,
well - after 10 years of using my MUFG Miles and More Credit Card I applied for a new one: Paypay Gold Card.
11,000 Yen yearly fee but: I´m already a premium user of the LYP Premium service which is 508 Yen per month - this will be included in the 11,000 Yen fee which "saves" me round about 6,000 Yen/year. Besides this it also includes usage of airport lounges across the country + travel insurance. I frequently use Yahoo Auction and will start using the card for any payments - which in return will increase the points I am going to receive. Same thing with linking my Y-Mobile account. I am planning to switch most of my payments to PayPay, which is linked with the card and should bring in additional points.
I´ll probably continue using the MUFG card when I´m outside the country - but for domestic purchases PayPay Card will be the way to go forward.
What are your favourite cards and why did you choose them?
Best,
Michael

Re: New CreditCard - PayPay
My two favourite credit cards are probably my JAL Global Club gold card and my ANA Superflyers gold card (both visa). I don't really use them, just pay the annual fees so I can keep mid-tier status with both airlines, which means I can use business class check in counters, lounges, get free seat reservations on airlines that charge for them, more luggage allowance, etc.
Cards I use are Amazon Prime Mastercard (useful for Amazon and Costco) and the Amex Bonvoy Premium card (gives me platinum status with Marriott with enough spend and a free night).
