Can I sell my US stocks and get dollars instead of yen on Rakuten Securities?

Hello

I have a Rakuten Securities account.
I want to sell one US stock and buy another US stock immediately after.

Can I sell it and get USD then buy the new stock in USD instead of yen? Or doesn’t it make any difference if I do it in yen?

Yes. It sits in $ until you decide to change it to yen, actually.
It is not exactly immediate, though. Money is available the next business day, I think (?)
