Your best bet might be to visit one of those Hoken Madoguchi type insurance brokers and just inquire. As they usually represent multiple companies' products, they'll likely have a good idea of what you would or wouldn't qualify for. It may be the case that some companies will now disqualify you outright, while others might want you to have an additional medical check, or you may simply need to pay more in premiums.
