It may depend on the broker, but it is my understanding that funds sent via Wise don't show the name of the account holder as sender but Wise.
A friend of mine failed using this approach for a transfer into IBKR a couple of months ago (Q4 of 2020). He has however succeeded applying this approach to Revolut and now uses his Revolut account to move funds USwards.
