Next year will be my first year of filing a tax return since joining this forum and entering the world of iDeCo, Nisa and T-Nisa.
Having received my yearly iDeCo statement postcard recently I’m wondering how to enter these payments on my tax return form?
To date I’ve been self-employed with quite a “vanilla” financial status and so last year I just needed to submit form FA2203/FA2303 (along with FA7001/FA7051 to show my business expenses).
I’m assuming when submitting next year I need to enter my iDeCo payments into section ⑬⑭ of form FA2303 underneath my health (国民健康保険) and national pension (国民年金) amounts.
If this is correct how to label these iDeco payments? 個人型年金?
Also, regarding Nisa/T-Nisa – I haven’t sold any of my funds so I’m assuming I don’t need to write these anywhere on my tax return? Or do I need to at least show what holdings I have, rather than what holdings I’ve sold…?
Many thanks in advance.

Include it in the Total Tax Deduction for Social Insurance Premiums

You don't need to declare anything in a NISA, even if you sell. It's tax free.Seasider4374 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 9:26 am Also, regarding Nisa/T-Nisa – I haven’t sold any of my funds so I’m assuming I don’t need to write these anywhere on my tax return?
