Hi folks
I have a small amount of money (less than 10,000 UKP) in a private pension from years ago. I want to liquidate it, but is it actually even possible to transfer it to my Japanese pension (kouseinenkin)? I think I read somewhere that there is no system in place for doing such a thing.
I'm guessing I could just have it paid into my UK bank account.
Do I have any other fairly simple options? I really want to minimise the amount of finance related accounts I have.
Am I making *any* sense?
Thanks
Hoof

Private UK pension to Japanese state pension (kosei nenkin)?
No, not going to work.
Liquidate it when you are able to and invest it in iDeCo or NISA if you plan to stay here?

Aiming to retire at 60 and live for a while longer. 95% index funds (eMaxis Slim etc), 5% Japanese dividend stocks.
