Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Guys may I ask what exactly is "fund rate", regarding iDeco?
Is it what I can see for example here:
https://www.dcnenkin.jp/search/product. ... w&item=71a
, in the 5th column of a spreadsheet (運用管理費用(信託報酬))?
Like, first fund (One DC国内株式インデックスファンド) shows a number of 0.15400%
Is this a "fund rate"? Means, fund takes this amount per year, as a maintenance fee or whatever?

Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Thank you!
After reading this thread a lot I decided to go with Monex' eMaxis Slim All Country, only. To cut expenses, and also save the time on further choosing/relocations etc. Looks most folks here prefer this one, too...
There were some comments about this fund's name before, like it was UFJ or something, so I'd really appreciate if someone here confirmed that I picked the right one:

Is that it, eMaxis Slim All Country?
Thanks!!

Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Thanks!!
Only, once money's been transferred to Monex, and time to buy something has come, after log in to some JIS&T page (as Monex requested) we don't see the name from my previous comment, anymore (eMAXIS Slim 全世界株式(オール・カントリー))
Instead, the most similar we can find in the funds list is 026 三菱U国際スリム全世界株式
Is that same eMaxis Slim All Country??
Why they make it all so confusing I don' understand

Yes.
Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Just something I noticed, maybe a heads up for people. I moved at the beginning of last year, and sent my change of address form info to my iDeCo provider (Monex). When I got my iDeCo documents near they end of the year they still had my old address on them. Apparently you have to make a separate phone call to get them to change your iDeCo address.

Yeah I was caught out by the same thing. Called them up, they sent a form and I sent it back. Just when I was feeling smug that I had sorted all the address changing in record time!JimNasium wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 4:17 am Just something I noticed, maybe a heads up for people. Re: Simple Q&A - iDeCo
Getting closer to starting an IDeCo account but before I do, some quick questions mostly about fees.
1. The monthly broker fee of 171 yen is forever? Even, after I reach the age of 60 and withdraw from my IDeCo account?
2. Do I have to pay it even for the months when I don't contribute?
3. Can I use these fees to lower my taxes?
4. What's the probably of these fees going up and by how much?
5. What if my situation changes and I am not qualified to contribute to an IDeCo, do I still have to pay this monthly broker fee?
