Re: NISA change proposals
Was there more info on those changes? I rolled over my allowance for 2023 so technically I have nothing to invest in NISA next year. I’m hesitating to keep the money or invest in a tokutei account next year. If I want to maximize gains in 2024, the best would be to not rollover and put the money in ...

Re: Changing jobs for a married woman with kids
Thanks zeroshiki and sutebayashi! I feel better about the trial period. I’m just afraid they stop it for no reason, for example recruiting someone while someone is sick or something like in maternity leave etc. Yeah I’ll be careful about the job offers amounts! I won’t leave my job for anything belo...

Changing jobs for a married woman with kids
Hello everyone, I’m currently in maternity leave with my 2nd son and I’m receiving lot of attractive job offers. Obviously the recruiters don’t know I’m married with 2 kids. They know I’m a foreigner woman in my 30s though. I’m the main provider in my family and make approx 5.5 millions JPY. I recei...

I see… thank you very much!TokyoBoglehead wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 11:37 am
I think 100 yen is the minimum purchase. In the future you could leave off a few 1000 yen and fill it exactly with a mutual fund.

Max out NISA
I forgot to do a simulation and bought some stocks to max out my NISA, but I have 81 yens left on this year allowance
Is there a way to use them?
Whatever is fine for this amount, it’s just bugging me to not have the line at 1,2 million lol
My account is on SBI.

Stocks investment outside of NISA
Hello everyone, I max my NISA account (1,2m) and Ideco (23000 yens/month) every year since 4 years ago. Since 2-3 years ago I started buying dividend stocks only on NISA. 2022 is my last NISA year and I plan to roll out every year from now on in the new NISA and invest the yearly 1,2 million (or mor...

Looking for Interactive Brokers feedback
Hi everyone, I want to buy some EU stocks next year and I think that for online buying, Interactive Brokers is the most fiable one proposing an access to EU stocks. I have a few questions about it: 1/ I saw they don't have the Tokutei account feature, just the ippan one. How hard it is to fill the p...

Re: bye bye NISA?
I see, thank you everyone! In the current NISA if I understood well there was no problem to rollover more than the current year limit. For example if the 1,2M investment of 5 years before became 1,8M we could rollover the full 1,8M but wouldn't be able to invest on that year. If the 1,2M made a loss...

Re: bye bye NISA?
I have the same question than eyeswideshut... Will the systems be completely different? I started my NISA in 2018 so I can put 1,2M up to 2022 included in it. At the end of those 5 years, would it be possible to rollover the full portfolio to keep having dividends tax-free on those 5 years investmen...
