Looking for Interactive Brokers feedback

Post by Kiyora999 »

Hi everyone,

I want to buy some EU stocks next year and I think that for online buying, Interactive Brokers is the most fiable one proposing an access to EU stocks.
I have a few questions about it:

1/ I saw they don't have the Tokutei account feature, just the ippan one. How hard it is to fill the papers ourselves for the tax office? What would we need to prove the amounts and is it easily sent by Interactive Brokers? For reference I have a JLPT 1 level but tax related stuff still give me an headache and up to now, my company was filling everything for me since NISA doesn't need to be declared.

2/ I saw that the Japanese side (IBSJ?) has some kind of inactivity fees on their FAQ but this question isn't on the IBLLC part.
Is there inactivity fees if you don't trade each month on the IBLLC panel?
Since there are trading fees, I would like to buy what I want in the same month, I won't have enough money to invest in big lines every month

3/ Is the payment of the dividends automatic and do we receive a proof each time like on SBI for example?

4/ Is the panel easy to use ?

Thank you in advance for your help!
