Re: IDeCo changes December 2024

You can change your contribution amount from within the iDeCo page of your Rakuten Sec. account. On the main page, there is a pink box with various notifications in it. Under お知らせ there is a notification titled: ・【2024年12月制度改正】iDeCoの掛金拠出限度額が変更に Click that and you are guided through. Took me 2 minute...

Re: Printable Rakuten sec doc showing total value of account?

Thank you. Yes I thought about that, but the Home Screen also has profit/ loss, which I don’t want to show. Hiding things is an option but I wondered if there was an easier way.

Just a simple PDF with the value of all assets (no breakdown, etc). I looked inside the 取引報告書等(電子書面)and found the 取引残高報告書 ...thi...

When is NI record updated? (UK pension)

Anyone know when the "Your UK National Insurance record" page is updated?
I paid the "2023 to 2024" months ago is still just shows "Your record for this year is not available yet". Would be nice to not have to call up to check.

Cheers!

Re: Does PT work as a student qualify to contribute to UK pension?

Does PT work as a student qualify to contribute to UK pension?

Hi all Does part-time work count towards "ordinary employment"? I have already qualified for (and paid) class 2 for a number of years I have worked full time in Japan. Now I am wondering if I am eligible to pay for the years I was a full time uni student in Japan and working part-time. Sin...

Re: UK state pension voluntary contributions online

By "pay online" you mean by credit card? I haven't seen this option, but I was able to make voluntary contributions via UK bank transfer for a hodgepodge collection of years of varying amounts. This is also how I intend to pay going forward.
