For those of us using SMBC as our main bank, it has been annoying not to have international cash card services (i.e. the plus logo on the back of the card). However, last year I got a debit card for my account with SMBC, and it has a plus mark on the card. I tried it on 2 overseas trips recently, and both times I could successfully withdraw money from an ATM over there. Finally! Good news. Anyway, thought I would share in case any of you are SMBC customers and have not discovered this yet. Here in Japan, I still have been unable to have my local supermarket figure out how to use the debit card even though their sign says they accept debit but that is another story... LOL
