Employer contribution

Season's greets to all ..
Me and wifey both pay max amount (¥23,000/month) into iDeCo. This is 'Participant contribution' with zero 'Employer contribution'. Because we own the gōdō gaisha company we work for we are also our employers.
Should we be doing something differently to gain maximum tax advantage?
Can we increase our contributions by adding Employer contribution?
Thanks in Advance ..

My understanding is that it is possible for certain category of small companies to also contribute into the iDeco, see here:
https://www.somu-lier.jp/column/ideco-plus/
This seems to be possible since May 2018, but it doesn't change the maximum of 23,000 JPY per month.
If you want to increase your investment and own the company, you need to setup a 企業型確定拠出年金
That can coexist under certain conditions with an iDeco, but it has several requirements to the company and is quite paperwork heavy.

My company is also looking into starting the 企業型確定拠出年金 , and as I understand it, even if the company does not contribute there are tax benefits for both the employee AND the company. However as mule96 mentioned it is paperwork-heavy so we are not prioritizing it since we don't expect a high uptake among our employees.

Thanks for the replies, based on your input seems better just leave things as they are now (for the moment at least).
