Is fire insuranc premium tax deductible?

I have made a contract for fire insurance (for 10 years) and a little earthquake coverage too (for 5 years) for a home we built. If I pay the total premium in one lump sum, is any portion of it tax deductible here in Japan? Any difference if we pay for it annually, over the course of 10 years or so? I work at a university, no side job, and my employer files for me. Do I have anything to submit to the office regarding fire insurance?
For reference, some of the amount I paid in premium for term life insurance was tax deductible. I received a postcard from the insurance company, which I affixed to the kakutei shinkoku form we received in October from our University office.
However, life insurance was something I bought every year, unlike the fire insurance that I am buying now for 10 years.
