Do Japanese index funds have a ticker symbol?

Like say the eMaxis SLIM ones. The code for this seems to be 03311187, but if I were to try searching for that on other sites, they don't show up.
I'm trying to import them into a google spreadsheet but I'm not sure how to go about it. For Toyota, I simply input 7203.T and it magically shows up.

Short answer: no. Index funds are structured similarly to mutual funds and are not traded on any stock exchange. You would need to go to your broker or to the fund's home page to find out the current value.

Bit of a side note here, but could you actually use the GOOGLEFINANCE formula for a TSE-based stock? (I've read a few things that says Japanese stocks are not supported, and my own attempts to get it to work have failed (I've read about XML import, but hoping that's a last resort).
Any advice or secret tricks are welcome!

They all have RICs and can be found in
info.finance.yahoo.co.jp
0331418A
The RIC will then work in multiple sites...

Sometimes, a Financial Institute has a different internal symbal for their equivalent fund, that will not work, but you should be able to search the name in info.finance.yahoo.co.jp and find the legitimate RIC.
The Prices are only updated once per day, usually around 23:00 depending on the RIC.
The same RIC is used in Morningstar.co.jp
0331418A
The first four digits correspond to the Issuer and the last digits to the actual fund...

No, it is not support by Google Finance. SBI has an API I believe, but XLM via Rakuten takes less than aa hour to learn from scratch. I did it 6 months ago. I have only had to adjust on ticker since that time (site changes).
