Saw in the news that several NISA amendments are being proposed for 2020 financial year.

1. Something about a monthly tax-free bracket if your employer pays for your NISA, so you can invest using pretax income. Pretty small though, only 1,000yen a month.
2. Amending Tsumitate NISA so that the 20 year period starts from the moment you sign up, regardless of your age. Currently restricted to those between 20-40 years of age?
3. Removing NISA's 5 year limit. Not sure how this works. News used the words 恒久的 which makes it permanent, I guess?

This is how ISAs in the UK work (supposedly the model for NISA). Makes much more sense. Would love to see it here!

That is really small. Who would bother for such an amount?
