I've been trying to add some US Reits to my portfolio on Monex and ran into some problems. Every time I try to buy any ticker associated with a Reit I get an error saying that "Trading in this stock is restricted on this platform". So far I tried VNQ and O but same error on both. Does anyone know, is there some restriction on buying US Reits in Japan or is this a Monex issue? Has anyone been able to successfully buy these through another platform in Japan?
