Hi guys,

Very new to the group. Looking to open an iDeCo account. I teach at universities and high schools. The universities and schools don't have a pension program and I pay into the national pension scheme. What would be my maximum allowable monthly payment into the iDeCo account?

If you pay kokumin nenkin (16,000-some a month), you can put up to 68,000 yen a month into iDeCo.

If you pay kosei nenkin through your employer (kyousai) it will only be 12,000 a month.
