Shinsei Bank to End English Support at Call Center

So, Shinsei bank have announced from October 2024 there will be no more English support at the Call Center.

Anyone still using these guys?

Yes, but never used the English language support.

Very disappointing how the service has dropped over the last 15 years or so. It's almost like they want customers to leave :?

I once tried their simultaneous translating call centre service. You had to wait about 20 minutes for the call centre translator to get connected. It was a disaster wating to happen, and I could not proceed to do what I wanted to do. After that I did everything in Japanese with Shinsei, but I have moved onto Wise, so fast and efficient, and hardly any human contact.

Looks like they've decided to provide English support via email, and call back.
