Hi all - so I just got accepted for the JAL Platinum AMEX card and it's arrived. I went through the 32k mile campaign and have registered for the campaign on the MY JALCARD website, but I'm really confused with the different companies at work here and how I can... do anything?

So I've had a JMB number this whole time, and I can see my miles accumulated on the JMB website. I've logged into the MY JALCARD website for the first time using the exact same details and it's clear my info has been registered as it shows my platinum card details. But my card is both an AMEX but also linked with MUFG. I can't see anywhere on the MY JALCARD site where I can see how much I've actually spent, how many miles I may have acummulated through spending, etc, i.e. the usual things you'd want to do on a credit card. Am I supposed to log in to the AMEX app or MUFG app for this, and if I am where do I get those details?

I thought the Rakuten ecosystem was difficult to understand but I might have been wrong. I want to ensure I'm getting the miles I should, my campaign has been registered correctly, and I can see what I'm spending and how this goes towards the campaign spending limit requirements. Also, I supposedly have access to a concierge service but I can't see this from the app either..

If anyone else uses this card or understands the service a little better would love some advice! Thanks

The Amex app should show most of that. I don't have the JAL card, but my Marriott one has similar earning info, campaign progress, etc.

That's the thing... there's no AMEX login for this card, from what I can see. I also have the Marriott and the usage is extremely simple. Log in to AMEX, see the spend, see the campaign progress, etc.

I've downloaded a JAL CARD app that shows my miles and will only show my spend if I connect it to Money Forward which I'm not sure I want to do. After a lot of searching I found an MUFG app and just signed up with my card details and it magically shows my spend (great), but it also says that Money Forward will be discontinued in October so I assume my previous concern is moot and JAL won't have a way of showing your spend at that point.

But then it comes to all the campaigns and programs etc. I can't find where to get my priority pass, concierge service. Going through the MUFG app I can see that there is some other premium service called Platinum Card Off that I can sign up to that has some benefits, but there's a free and paid tier.

Honestly it's so confusing lol. So whilst I can navigate this slowly, hopefully someone who has been in this ecosystem for a while can help make that easier.
