Not long ago I posted that I was rather put off looking into UK pensions because it seemed such a pain, but decided to give it a go.
But it has not started well. The Government Gateway site was a nightmare, and no-one picks up when you call them in the UK. Any advice from veterans of the struggle?

Persist.
