How can I qoute in the form of (for eg) [Seasider4374 wrote: "qwertyuiop"]
I can copy text and paste it between the quotation marks markup tool available above the text entry box - but how do I get to reference USERNAME wrote... beforehand?

Click the " button in the top right of the user's post. It'll create a new reply automatically quoting the full post. Then you can edit it down to just what you want to quote.
