Seems like the Japanese gov't pension fund is looking into perhaps investing in Bitcoin, too.

Not investment advice (of course), but if the JP pension fund is looking into Bitcoin, maybe us plebs planning for retirement should be, too.

Why so aggressive?

Yeah, I want to bring light to bitcoin for the possible benefit to others.

If I want to push the price up by "luring" people to buy Bitcoin, this is hardly the right forum to get enough people to buy.

If you don't think it's right for you, totally fine. Government entities (as well as governments) are adopting Bitcoin, so even if you think it's "just data", there is something else about it.

It doesn't hurt to diversify.

No I saw something from Bruce Ikemizu, a metals guy, about the GPIF asking for info too, he had a link:
https://www.gpif.go.jp/20240319_RFI_J_2.pdf

Personally, I think the bar for the GPIF to allocate a single yen to Bitcoin or other data ought be rather high… not that I intend to be reliant on the pension scheme and GPIF.

I’d be happier if they just give me my share of the money instead, if that’s where they would put it.

I wouldn't pay attention to much of the negative opinions on the bitcoin ; people that DCA in the bear markets of bitcoin portfolio wildly doing greater than people that have been working for 15 years. If you want to be extremely succesful and do better than your peers you will have take risk and work harder than the average joe. Have a HIgh performance mindset/personality. I spent many years studying market manipulation in futures index; and taking six figure positions in crypto and stocks. Once bitcoin pumps in this year, i plan to sell it all and rotate in and out of vanguard index. I am not 20 year old kid but im also not 45, but i have worked hard, expanded my horizon and chasing the next digit. I don't have the mindset of investing for retirement, but to create generational wealth..

If you wish the spread knowledge to help people's benefit; more power to you.. people that take the time to attack, insult , or try to bring you down are just jealous and not doing well as you.
