While investigating a broken link for the wiki, I noticed the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare have rewritten the Nenkin Kenshou site as a manga.

As a means to educate younger people who may have doubts about the validity, sustainability and general fairness of the system. I’m not entirely sure how this glossy, exhaustive and expensive looking manga with a talking cat is going to win them over. Speaking from my own familial situation, getting an American YouTuber to explain the system whilst live streaming levels of carnage unseen since WW1 or digitally projecting the manga on to the shirts of androgynous looking youths badly lip syncing on stage may yield better コスパ.
Also. Whilst it doesn’t directly say “for the greater good” I did learn the phrase 所得再分配.
