Paypay Bank Foreignt Deposit = legit ok?

Greetings all, (Edit for link)

I know that SMBC, Sony, and others have a foreign deposit ability (i.e. sending US dollars from my US bank straight into the foreign deposit account here at SMBC or Sony or...).

Wondering if this holds true for Paypay bank? I just found this page and I don't quite get it (using Google Chrome to translate).

https://www.paypay-bank.co.jp/fcd/index ... r=top_ss12

Can Paypay do what I was just explaining above? Sending via bank transfer or wire my US bank details/dollars into a Paypay Bank foreign deposit account IN US dollars....then converting it to Yen when I want (meaning, changing my already US dollars in the Paypay foreign deposit account into my Paypay Yen account?

Thanks for any insight!

It appears that’s a no.

They have some other pages talking about their Swift / BIC code, but note that they don’t support receiving from abroad, nor sending money abroad.

Hmm, I see. Thank you.

With their SWIFT/BIC codes, do you know if I could use Wise as an intermediary in transferring monies into either a) their foreign deposit in USD (or would it still look like an international transfer for Paypay), or b) normal transferring USD to Yen into my PayPay yen deposit?

Thanks. Another wondering I have with all of this is if I could use Paypay bank as my normal bank (as an alternative to JP Post, SMBC, Sony, other local banks, etc). I like their app and the whole Paypay ecosystem...so far from what I've seen.
