Hello
Im just starting with NISA and for the Inve trust part, I see 2 options and tried to find a different / witch one to choose.
eMAXISSlim Worldwide Stocks (All Country) Vs Rakuten All Country Stock Index Fund
1. if I'm not wrong, both are Distribute, do you know a similar option that accumulates dividends?
2. My account is with Rakuten, I understand that I better start the process now if I want to start buying next month, I would like to set it to be automatic from my bank/credit card, any advice on how to set it.
Thank you all for helping.

1) Opposite. Neither will distribute dividends.
eMaxis Slim is an older product, the Rakuten version is new. It looks very similar to eMaxis Slim. Size of the fund is much smaller.
2)For credit card you will need to get a Rakuten credit card if you do not already have one. It does not work with other cards.
Bank - I only do one-off, "spot' purchases so cannot help with setting that up, I am afraid.
Aiming to retire at 60 and live for a while longer. 95% index funds (eMaxis Slim etc), 5% Japanese dividend stocks.
Re: eMAXISSlim vs Rakuten All Country
1. Both re-invest the dividends. So, they are accumulating type not distributing type.O.S wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 10:30 pm Hello

The management fees for Rakuten's one is 0.192%, (Edit: this is wrong info, there is new one with management fee of 0.0561%)
for eMAXISSlim is 0.05775%.
2. On the rakuten securities homepage they have a banner up now, which will take you step by step. If you have specific query, there are many helpful souls here!

Thank you for for point it out that both are accumulating,
I guess the Google translation missed it too...
So, if I don't want to have a Rakuten credit card, I can't make it automatic?
can I buy it manually once a month?

Re: eMAXISSlim vs Rakuten All Country
MUFJ has said they will continue to match the lower trust fees in the industry, and they have followed through. They have very very large holdings, excellent management, great transparency, and of course excellent tracking.
I would not recommend Rakuten over them, Remember, Rakuten will pull their point system at a moment's notice.
Issues with Rakuten Tracking -> https://shintaro-money.com/rakuten-acwi/
I would say CAVEAT EMPTOR with Rakuten.

All things being equal, you should choose the fund with the longer history (tbh even EMaxis Slim All Country is not that old and why some people prefer Tawara). Since I don't trust Rakuten at far as I can throw them, I will keep my holdings in EMaxis Slim unless Rakuten does something really crazy.

True, but it is just the low-cost version of eMAXIS 全世界株式インデックス, established in 2010.07.20.zeroshiki wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 3:20 am All things being equal, you should choose the fund with the longer history (tbh even EMaxis Slim All Country is not that old and why some people prefer Tawara). Re: eMAXISSlim vs Rakuten All Country
Sounds like the Rakuten All Country isn't popular choice.
Out of interest... If, for whatever reason, someone didn't want to buy eMaxis Slim All Country, what would people say would be the best (similar) alternative available in NISA?
