Finance movies and documentaries

Hey guys,
I just thought I'd make a place where people could put links for movies and full documentaries related to financial matters.

The first I have is:
I don't have any money left in my retire ment account
老後の資金がありません
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11354164/? ... _sr_srsg_0
Free on Prime in Japan or ¥100 at Geo.

This came out in 2021 and the title intrigued me so I watched it a couple of month back.
The premise being about a woman realises that she doesn't have enough money saved for retirement.
It starts off quite well showing the struggles that people in Japan can face with funerals, weddings, education. On screen a bank balance appears and it shows money increasing and decreasing during various events.
I won't go into too much but the acting wasn't great, too many geinojin making token appearances and the story went downhill after a promising start.

Second is a documentary:
The minimalists: Less is now
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13583144/? ... _sr_srsg_0
Free on Netflix in Japan

This also came out in 2021 and is a documentary about minimalism and minimalists Joshua Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus.
This documentary promises to tell us about minimalism but instead is more about Joshua and Ryan and is ultimately unfulfilling.
Youtube has better options.

Third is another documentary:
Playing with FIRE: The documentary
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13583144/? ... _sr_srsg_0

This documentary came out in 2019 and is a documentary about the FIRE movement with guests such as Mr. Money Moustache.
Overall a good introduction to the FIRE movement and some of the "big names" involved. Easy to understand but nothing new to many members on here. It follows a family going through the process of achieving FIRE and that is interesting.

Fourth and final is:
Get smart with money
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21654704/? ... _sr_srsg_0
Free on Netflix in Japan (I think)

This 2022 documentary is basically about a group of financial advisors who select a person/family and help them with their financial problems.
The problem is that all of the chosen people are either rich or pretty stupid with money. Nothing new for us here.

Anyway, they are all watchable time killers but Playing with FIRE is probably the only one I would recommend.

Looking forward to seeing other people's recommendations!
