Basic Investing Advice for Japanese National

Post by Sean »

Could someone direct me toward a low-expense investment for a Japanese national, perhaps an investment that would be similar to the Vanguard 500 Index Fund or the Fidelity 500 Index Fund (historical returns of 6 to 11 percent)? Would there also be something similar to the Vanguard Target Retirement funds or the Fidelity Freedom funds (historical returns of 6 to 8 percent)?

Thank you immensely.

These are the most recommended global index funds for Japanese residents (nationality doesn't matter):

I recommend you read that and read around the site and forum. There's been alot of good discussion around these.

The Japanese equivalent to these would be:
eMAXIS Slim 米国株式(S&P500)
