Hello,
I am a resident of Japan (HSP visa).
I am inviting my parents to stay with me in Japan. They applied under 90 day visitor visa.
I want to apply for health insurance for my parents that is valid and usable in Japan. I inquired with my company, the company or national health insurance of japan is extendable to parents, however they need to be Japan Residents (possessing residence card).
Can someone recommend a health insurance that i can apply for and is usable in Japan ? Ofcourse I don't want it to cover some fancy treatments, but just same level as my Japanese Health Insurance.
Thank you

There seems to be quite alot of foreigner-friendly inbound insurance. Here's the first hit on google: https://japantravelinsurance.net
Although looking at it, it seems they max out at 30 days but I don't think anything is stopping you from topping up after day 31 and buying a new policy. This one seems to be tailored specifically to over 30 days stay: https://tokiomarinenichido.jp/japan/blog/over1month/
