Thank you for your input. Has been super helpful! I have another question?
To do NISA and invest in eMAXISSlim should I use SBI online bank or Rakuten online bank? Neither of these are in my town so I will have to send money to these accounts with an ATM. Using ATM I will have to pay transfer fee.
Doing an ATM transfer once is acceptable but I would like to minimize unnecessary fee to maximize my profit. Also I was hoping to automate this.
Any input would be great! Thank you!
SBI vs Rakuten
Re: SBI vs Rakuten
Do you have other bank accounts?
If so you can transfer online from those accounts directly to a Rakuten Securities or other securities account without paying fees.
Example for Rakuten.

Depositing money at an ATM does not usually cost anything.
(I don't use SBI but assume it is very similar).

Aiming to retire at 60 and live for a while longer. 95% index funds (eMaxis Slim etc), 5% Japanese dividend stocks.

Which one would you recommend to connect to Rakuten?
