Transfering funds from Monex on leaving Japan

Hello everyone,
Since Monex supports Tradestation (as an app, at least) and Tradestation has something to do with IB, and Monex itself uses IB to deal with US stocks (correct if I'm wrong on latest)
Shouldn't there be a way to transfer stocks from Monex to IB, oin case of leaving Japan? At least US stocks. Anyone tried?
I'm not going to stay in Japan forever but knowing that I'll have to sell all on leaving (and who knows what price) stops me from investing the way I'd like to.

It is not that simple. They are using the same clearing houses, but do not offer these sort of international transfer services. Only domestic transfers.
The only way I have heard of anyone transferring stock out of Japan is from Japanese broker -> Japanese IBKR -> International IBKR.
If you plan to leave japan
1. Have all your taxable accounts with IBKR (International Account).
2. Have your NIsa/Ideco with a domestic broker.

Thanks for reply!
Means it's technically possible to transfer assets from let's say Monex (with Nisa) to Japanese IB (no Nisa of course but it won't be needed if things go to transfer)??
That would be fantastic!
I wonder if anyone have actually done that.

No, funds In a Nisa are locked to that broker and account. You cannot move them period

If you are going to be re-buying anyway, the price you sell at is not so important as long as you can re-buy quickly. There may be practical difficulties with this however...

Yeah, practical difficulties.
I'll have to re-buy if there's no other way, but...
All these restrictions are so silly...

Yes, but I believe IB Japan -> IBKR International would be the difficult part. What ETFS/Funds do they accept? What are their rates? Etc? I do not know.
For now, stick to keeping your taxable at an IBKR international account and just use Japanese brokers for your NISA.

Yes, but
You mean it's possible to transfer from JP non-NISA broker account to IBKR Jp account? That would be great.
But it's not possible to move funds from NISA to non-NISA account within same Jp broker right?

When I talked to th few years ago they said I just open anther entity IB account and they transfer ok. Oh, it was FROM EU to Japan, but think it works both ways. Also Jp IB support me provide same assets as to US customers. Not sure about fees but again if it's same to US I find them quite ok (MUCH better that local brokers)

1. JP Non-Nisa -> IBKR Japan should be possible. Call them to confirm.
2. Nisa-> Non-Nisa. Not possible. You`ll need to wait for the Nisa period to end. Or simply sell in Nisa and rebuy in taxable instantly.
3. IBKR-Japan has two levels of accounts. (International and Japan). You will need to confirm with them about transfers between these two account types.
4. Yes IBKR is superior in design/access. However, Japanese brokers offer point incentives and tax advantaged accounts. I have effectively paid 0 Yen investing though them, and actually made money in points. I cannot complain.

Thanks a lot for detailed reply! Sorry I thought I replied already but... better late than never I think. Really appreciate!!
May I ask one more. How do you get 0 yen fee, and points? Need some special assets you buy/special "point program" you join, or you get it by default once you open Nisa? I have Monex with Nisa.
