Hi everyone, I am using a Monex securities account for Nisa and also have a normal stock account which I believe automatically deducts tax when required. When I purchase a stock or fund (on the order screen) I am give three options to choose from (in English) Indentity, General and Nisa. Does anyone know the difference between Identity and General and if so which one do I select so that my tax is automatically deducted. Thank you.

I am not sure what Identity is but if its 特定 then that's what you want.

Identify is likely a poor machine translations. Just to be sure please include the Japanese.

Thank you all for your replies, I really appreciate your help. As requested the Japanese characters I was referring to are 特定 and 一般.

特定 is tax-reporting/deducting (the broker does your taxes for you)
一般 is ordinary (you calculate and report your own taxes)
