Kaigo hoken

I have what may or may not be a new problem. My wife became bedridden about 10 years ago, I needed to hire a company to take care of her while I worked and also because it becomes extremely tiring the older you get. Now that I have reached 65 I have less energy to care for her and need the help even more. It is amazing who little "kaigo hoken" helps in this regard. I want someone to stay a few nights so that I can get a reasonable sleep. I don't understand why but the person in charge of her case '(care manager) tells me that there is no company that kaigo holen can be used with. Last month I paid almost 500,000 yen for the month........any ideas?

You’ve probably already thought about this but, you could sponsor a live-in maid from the Philippines/Vietnam etc. If you do your due diligence, you could end up with someone harder-working and more compassionate than you can find here.
