Fees for brokers such as Rakuten, SBI etc

Does anyone have any info on costs for using brokers such as Rakuten, SBI etc?

What kind of fees? There are no fees to have an account, then each broker will have fees to purchase things etc. You can generally find them on each broker's website.

Here is a breakdown. It depends on what you are buying and selling.

Rakuten, Monex and SBI are very competitive.

SBI Securities, Okasan Online Securities, and Rakuten Securities seem to be commission free for daily trades valued at under 1 million JPY.  Matsui Securities seems to be commission free for daily trades valued at less than 500,000 JPY. Does anybody have any experience with these firms--especially in terms of their ability to report dividends and gains? How about overall performance?
