Rakuten might not be the choice?

Hi,
I have a rakuten security account, and last night wanted to get some new IPO (one of them being DSP which soared to 90% by closing), but rakuten never listed them on their site. It was very frustrating.

So i did a quick search with SBI, and though I dont have an account with them, when i put the ticker DSP in their search, it did come up. Now my question is, could anyone with a SBI account verify for me if they can actually buy the DSP stocks, or if SBI is only listing them for information purposes?

Even BMBL comes up on SBI, but not Rakuten. And I really wanted to get BMLB today.

To be fair, I did buy a new IPO with my rakuten security account two weeks back, SHSL, which took some time before it actually came up for purchase.

Is rakuten security just really slow, or has less options? I am strongly considering getting a different account to be sure I don't miss out again.

Thank yoou

There's a ton of stocks missing from Rakuten so I feel your pain. Every other stock my friend talks to me about doesn't exist on Rakuten. This is especially true for a lot of SPACs and grass stocks.

Yea, seems like that.
So I have applied for a SBI account, hope it will be ready soon.

But I am interested in new IPOs, but damn, seems like they are very very slow to get the new IPOs.
This is very very annoying. I was looking for RBLX on march 10th, well, no news about that on Rakuten, and I called SBI to ask about it, and they said, they don't really know and that I have to check regularly.

Is it possible for NONE-Americans to get an account in the US?

I feel I am missing out of a lot of choices...

SBI also doesnt have the full NASDAQ or NYSE. I think i fyou want to have full access you need to go for an US broker.
