EMAXIS SLIM vs VOO

Hey guys, there might be something I’m not understanding. It feels like a lot of us are recommending the eMaxis slim funds such as the one that tracks s&p 500, but I see that the expense ratio is nearly 0.1%.

But what about funds like this one?

Wouldn’t this be even cheaper? A quick google shows that the expense ratio for this is 0.03% but it’s not explicitly stated on the above link. Thoughts?

It is a bit of a wash at the end of the day.

Most people do not want to deal with the currency conversion headache and all the associated costs.

Thanks guys, so I guess the conclusion is that even though VOO is a lot cheaper, Rakuten charges a ton on currency conversion and it's pretty hard to calculate the fees on that end, but the fees might very well be significantly more than the difference in expense ratios.
