Hello everyone,
Heard Jp brokers get higher fees comparing to US brokers,
How high? And, who would be cheapest (AND allow using NISA)
IB costs about 0,40 cents per trade (not sure if it depends on amount though)
Thanks!

Depends what you're buying, but most of the internet brokerages are pretty competitive in terms of fees. Just search for 手数料 to see.
Here are the Monex fees, fyr:

Thanks!
Cannot read kanji...
But if I understand correct it's 100 yen per amount less than 10 man. And I guess it's US stocks.
This is similar to standard IB fees plan (but IB also has a better one). Not so good but not as high as I expected.
EU assets cost much higher, even with IB.

That is Japan only. For american stocks/etfs Monex charges 0.45% of the transaction plus consumption tax with a maximum of 20 USD (+ consumption Tax = 22 USD) per trade. That is similar to SBI and Rakuten (max is also 22 USD). So they are quite expensive if you are a trader and buy stocks compared to low cost foreign brokers. If you buy and hold, it doesnt have much effect imo. And if you buy low cost Japanese funds, there are 0 transaction fees. I think the Japanese index fund market has become really competitive the last years.

Thanks a lot for reply!
OMG both 0.45% of the transaction and maximum of 22 USD are just crazy expensive.
Good I know it before I even try to start account opening with JP broker. Only interested in US stocks so - not an option for me
Somehow I was expecting it'll be like this. Overpriced as everything...
