Hi All,

I bought shares in VALPQ when they were on NYSE for $0.63 last year in my NISA.

This ended up being a bad purchase because they then went down to $0.09, but I just continued to hold them because why not? right. I think they are going through a Chapter 11.

Anyway, last night some activity kicked off and it grew by 57%. Interested to see where this goes. Even if it can get above $0.63 I am in profit!

But my question for you is...

Will Rakuten-sec let me sell the VALPQ shares? They still appear in my portfolio and on my NISA too, but obviously because they are now on the OTC market you can no longer buy them on Rakuten-sec, so I am worried that when I come to sell, it will not let me sell as a result.

Do you have an option to sell a single share just to check?

If Rakuten was not going to allow you to sell, they probably would have sold it automatically when it was delisted.

It's listed as one of the stocks they only support sell orders for: https://www.rakuten-sec.co.jp/web/forei ... /sell.html

So you should be good.

It does load the stock page with the buy/sell buttons. I was thinking of trying to sell 1 but the problem is I don't want to risk trying and lose a share by selling at it's current price.

Trying to buy returns this: "※米国株式は自動スイープの対象外です。らくらく入金をご利用ください。" if that helps?

Although... it does say here that if the stock price is less than $0.10, the minimum trade is 10,000 units...

Damn. But tbh I probably would just hold below $0.10 anyway (like I have done for the past few months)

I have 300. Here's hoping it get's to a $1+ haha
