Setting up a fund for my nephew.

Post by RTanakard »

Good evening,

My sister-in-law had a baby last month and I want to set up a fund for my nephew. What options do I have?
I would like to put in a small lump sum to start things off and then add something every month. Well, that's the plan.

Kind regards,

Richard

Work with his parents to set up a Junior Nisa. It is the best option.

https://www.fsa.go.jp/policy/nisa2/abou ... index.html

The flow of the money is Your account-> His Bank Account -> Trading Account-> Junior Nisa account.
