75,000 on a 49m2 apartment in fushimi, Kyoto. Currently looking for a new place and just found out about the UR Danchi. Near current place there’s a 61m2 apartment for 50,000, or a 91m2 for 71,000.
Me and my wife are currently deciding which would be better, a little more space and lot of savings, or a lot more space and a little savings.the first place is just down the road, the bigger place is in the next ward over but not really too far. It’s so hard to decide.

Based of your previous posts, you were very focused on reducing your expenses; as you were having difficulty increasing your income and your wife cannot work.
The ５万 place seems like the right choice. ２４万 a year savings.

I agree, it seems a good way to cut costs significantly, and still a bit more space than your current abode. Unless the extra space would make your living environment significantly better, 61m2 seems adequate for the two of you.
