My friend (also American) approached me about starting a business recently. He wants to start an LLC so he can get into affiliate marketing. But, he is not able to start it in his name because of his company restrictions so it would have to be in my name. Maybe this is like what Ben mentioned earlier in the thread. We would not need a loan because it would be on the technical side and startup costs could be covered out of pocket initially.
I am looking for information about what the tax forms would be like and how time-consuming they would be to fill out.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
