Even domestically there are stuff like rakutens "double bull" and "double bear" ETF's. Personally I wouldn't touch them, but they're leveraged bets for or against the nikkei 225

Convinced that Trump was going to tank the economy with his talk of tariffs and threats against free trade, and thinking the market had hit top, I put a hefty amount into Rakuten's 3.7x bear fund right after he was elected. Oh how wrong I was. Trump, as everyone knows, has turned out to be the Greatest President In History. I eventually bit the bullet and sold at a hefty loss, kicking myself for straying from my index-funds-only approach and thinking I would outsmart the market. Not only did I take the big leveraged loss, but missed out on the gains in the meantime as well. Lesson learned.
