Would be interested to hear if there is any consensus on this from Rakuten iDeCo users.

The Rakuten fund didn't exist when I set up my iDeCo. I have it set for 80% Tawara No Load Developed Countries, 10% in the Mitsui Sumito Japan fund, and 10% in an Emerging Markets fund, but I'm now thinking of switching to 100% Rakuten All Country.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

I put my entire iDeCo allowance into the Tawara developed country fund. Figure I get enough exposure to the rest of the world through my NISA and taxable account investments.

If I only had iDeCo I would consider the Rakuten All-country fund.

This has come up two times already, if you check previous threads with the search function.

Rakuten management is not considered very mature compared to Tawara and MUFJ, and the recent closure of PayPay mutual funds shows management matters.

Switching with iDeco is pretty painless, so it is best to wait a few years. If Rakuten shows a good record (low real expenses and good tracking), switch then.
