About US stocks: The problem with picking the winners, is that they might not be the future winners. What you want to do is pick the future winners. I don't know who that'll be, which is why I just take the global market cap.

Do you include any emerging market exposure then?

Via eMaxis Slim All Country, yes.
For my SBI iDeCo account, which doesn't have that fund, I roughly replicate it with three different eMaxis Slim funds as listed
here.

It seems the emerging market exposure is quite low.
Considering Ideco and Tsumitate are set and forget mostly. I would be tempted to purchase the separate funds so I could rebalance every year.

I'm confused. First you were saying you wanted more US exposure, now that there's not enough emerging markets
What do you mean by "low"?
eMaxis Slim All Country follows the MSCI All Country World Index, which is market capitalization based. So it's about 12% emerging markets (11.5% as of the latest prospectus).

It seems I was reading the report wrong, I see the breakdown now. Thanks.
I am just curious about everyone's approach. I ended up purchasing the following for my NISA.
eMAXIS slim 先進国株式インデックス
eMAXIS Slim 国内株式(TOPIX)
eMAXIS slim 新興国株式インデックス
I was saying in another thread that the issue is Tusmitate doesn't let you purchase bonds. The products between the two differ quite a bit. So when you are trying to balance between iDeco and Nisa and how your portfolio represents the market it can be difficult. I thought multiple funds would be better vs one all country fund.
However, I see merit in your approach too. I am unsure now what is better.
