how often do these take place?
I think they happen monthly or at least once every 2 months at the most and they usually last about a week. Spend more than 1000 yen in 10 different shops and you get back up to 10% additional points up to 100,000 Yen. Be aware these points expire after a couple months (unlike regular Rakuten points). Man, I feel like a shill for Rakuten now lol.
