Don’t see why not, am sure there is a fair profit margin built in, 25-30% according to an estate agent I spoke to while we were considering that route.

Overseas, I made an offer 30% less than the sale price and got told to $%#"$#.. but then the seller came back and asked if the offer still stood 4 months later. Agreed and bought it.

Here a friend made an offer 10% less than the sale price on a 40mil second hand house and after some to and fro was accepted.

In some places a real estate colleague told me there is a price for Japanese and a price for Non-Japanese.

So very possible.
