Looking like a known issue
Nice find. Especially this:
2023年内受渡しとなる注文は失効となり取引は行われません
I'm not sure about this though:

because the clearing date for an order on 12/30 is in January, so I think that one'll go through.
I had mine for Jan 5th and initially the 発注予定日 was Dec 5th 2023.

Now it's automatically updated to " 発注予定日: 2024年01月05日 ".
Just looks to me like they were repurposing the old One NISA per year system instead of creating a new one..

How do I put an order in for the growth/成長 portion of the new NISA?
I want to set it up so that 2.4m yen is invested right away in January.

I can find this page easily enough (setting up the monthly つみたて amount):
https://ibb.co/TkzCb1J

But I cannot find anything about setting up the growth portion.

Up until now I've been paying in 30,000 yen per month to the t-NISA.
My final installment in 2023 of 30,000 yen is due to go out on December 18th.
I think I will let this go out before setting up the new t-NISA settings.
Just now, when I tried to set up the monthly 100,000 yen for 2024, a notice said this would be also taken on December 18th.
This sounds messy and I'm sure there will be a cock-up somewhere.

For the first 100,000 yen due in Janaury 2024, does anyone know when is the latest date in Decemeber this can be taken?
No broker has opened the growth portion yet. I expect it to open in the mid-end of December, as late December orders are executed in January but they could simply wait until 01.01.2024 to avoid confusion with legacy NISA.

Okay, if that's the case, all good.
I was just worried it was there and I was missing it.
Thanks.

I set up the first installment of my 2024 tsumitate-NISA through SBI today.

The first 100,000 yen will leave my SBI account on December 18th.
(same date as the final 33,333 yen installment of my 2023 existing t-NISA).
